Watson and Holmes

Meet the new additions to our apartment! The light green turtle is Watson and his friend is Holmes. Such aggressive little ones. They've grown to nudge each other for hours on end just to get the corner of the tank. I need to get them a bigger habitat. Should look into feeding them properly, too. They swim really fast if you put them into a bathtub! I've grown attached, they're so cute!

Got laundry card refilled at leasing office? Check (assholes).
Walk back to apartment with everything on back and hand? Check.
Finished putting things back and settling with lunch? Check.
And by 2 o'clock today? Check.

Definitely hate-the-weather-but-loves-the-look-of-it-from-inside today? Check.

Sometimes I really wish I had a car down here, it'd cut my time to do stuff in half. Today was just one of those days. I'm cranky. Don't fuck with me.

It's 2009

There was some lunatic on my block is setting off a load of fireworks. It made me sort of miss the nightly festivities, but it was rather quiet over break. Now that I'm back at school, it's back to studying. I miss the crazy professors.
